Please review the refund policy before purchasing our products. At DO Studios, we strive to provide high-quality virtual instruments like Guitarocracy to enhance your music production experience. However, due to the nature of digital products, our refund policy is limited to ensure fairness and protect against unauthorized use. This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through our authorized third-party retailers or platforms. By purchasing Guitarocracy, you agree to this policy.
General Refund Policy
Guitarocracy is a digital download product. Once the product is downloaded, activated, or the license key is used, it is considered non-returnable and non-refundable. This is standard for software and virtual instruments, as digital goods cannot be “returned” in the same way as physical items, and we cannot revoke access once the product is in use.
- No Refunds for Digital Downloads: Refunds are not available for digital products after the download link has been accessed, the license key has been redeemed, or the product has been installed/activated. This includes cases where you change your mind, find the product incompatible with your setup, or encounter user-error issues. Please, contact us if you have compatibility questions prior to purchase if your unsure.
- Exceptions for Refunds: We may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis only under the following limited circumstances:
- If the product has not been downloaded, installed, or activated (e.g., within 14 days of purchase, and you provide proof such as order details).
- If there is a verifiable technical defect in the product that we cannot resolve (e.g., a manufacturing error in the download file), and you contact us within 7 days of purchase.
- If a duplicate purchase was made in error (e.g., accidental double-order), and the duplicate has not been activated.
- Refund Process: To request a refund, contact us using our contact form with your order number, purchase date, and a detailed explanation of the issue. Refunds, if approved, will be processed through the original payment method within 7-10 business days. We reserve the right to deny any refund request at our sole discretion.
Important Considerations
- License Keys and Activation: License keys are unique and non-transferable. Once activated, the product is tied to your Native Instruments account or device, and we cannot reset or revoke keys for refund purposes. This prevents abuse and ensures the integrity of our licensing system.
- Technical Compatibility: Before purchasing, review the system requirements on our website (e.g., compatible with Native Instruments Kontakt Player, version 8 or later). We recommend testing with the free Kontakt Player demo if available. Incompatibility does not qualify for a refund.
- Third-Party Purchases: If you purchased through a third-party retailer (e.g., our shop cart provider), their refund policy may apply in addition to ours. Contact them first for processing, but our no-refund stance for activated digital products still holds.
- Promotions and Bundles: Discounted, promotional, or bundled purchases are final and non-refundable.
